to the time spent doing nothing but lying on the bed and staring at the ceiling for hours
to the time spent planning the next night-out, while the lecturer's voice tried to pierce the cacophony of the half dozed off class
to the sleepless nights spent outside the library, cramming what would usually take a week, in an hour
to the time which unceasingly took our adolescent beings to adulthood; transformed our skinny, agile selves to clumsy laid-back ones
to the time when the stroke of midnight symbolized the beginning of the day's 'better' part
to the time when for the world we proudly carried the tag of 'pursuing BE', but only were our fellow mates aware of the sarcasm involved
to the time we all know will never come back, but will always make us take time to be recalled
snapshots of those moments in time flash back and forth in front of my eyes
as I bid adieu to all that it gave me, and more
to the mighty Panjab University, this very beautiful city,
its silence and the ROAR!
